Third Grade Field Trip

We had a great day at the field trip yesterday.  We are so thankful that we didn’t have rain and the temperature was quite pleasant.  Our students got to explore the gardens and then learned some lessons about our Michigan trees and a little bit about the lumberjacks that lived here long ago.

Thank you to all of the parent chaperones who went on the field trip with us.  We couldn’t have done it without you.  Also, thank you to the parents who were able to make it to Hager Park for lunch.  I know we made you wait a little bit before we got there.  We appreciate that.

Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Last 10 Days!

Can you believe tomorrow starts the last 10 days of third grade?  I can’t even believe how fast this came.  The third grade team is doing something fun each day.  It might be an activity, something to wear, or a small thing to bring from home.

Each day will spell out Third Grade.  Tomorrow is:

Animals at the Pond

I hope your child has come home and told you about all of the animals we have seen at the pond.  The past couple of days have been the best because the sun has been out the animals are on the move.  We’ve seen snakes on the shore and swimming in the water.  We’ve seen baby turtles and large turtles.  There have even been a few frogs poking their heads out.
