Updates from Room 201
I want to show you a little bit of what we’ve been up to!
First, you will see our yoga poses. Each day when we come back from lunch, we will do approximately 10 minutes of yoga and focus on our breathing and stretching so we can be ready to learn. You will see some of the stretching and then relaxing time for about 2 minutes while laying on the floor. The students take deep breaths and just relax. It reminds me of my kindergarten days when we took naps, but I can assure you they aren’t sleeping!! 🙂
Today the students were detectives and went around the room familiarizing themselves with our classroom. They loved this activity! The classroom was almost completely silent.
